Making it easier to stay connected with your child’s school

Nearly 1,000 parents and carers in the Helensburgh and Lomond area have already signed up to a new digital service making it quicker and easier to communicate with school at a time that suits busy families.
Argyll and Bute Council is now rolling out Parentsportal to schools across Bute, Cowal,
Mid Argyll, Kintyre, and the islands. Schools in Oban Lorn and the Isles will follow in June.

Major funding to support waterfront regeneration for mid Argyll

A quarter of a million-pound funding injection is set to support an exciting new business and tourist attraction for Mid Argyll.
At a meeting of the Policy and Resources committee, Councillors gave the green light to an allocation of £250,000 from the Tarbert and Lochgilphead Regeneration Fund to Scottish Canals for the Gleaner Phase 2 project.
