About the fund
This fund launches on 7th October.
Applications are now invited for round seven of Argyll and Bute Council’s Strategic Events and Festivals Fund.
The fund is open to not-for-profit organisations delivering an event or festival of strategic importance in Argyll and Bute between 1st April 2025 and 31st March 2026.
The fund aims to support events and festivals to add value and increase their resilience, sustainability and growth.
The deadline for applications is midday Monday 18th November 2024.
Applications can be made for up to 20% of the total cost of the event/festival. Please note that there will be one call for applications for this period.
To maximise the limited budget available and demonstrate best value, requests should be made for the minimum amount needed to deliver the event/festival. It is expected that most applicants will seek between £2,500 and £5,000.
The maximum amount that can be applied for is £30,000.
Applications for over £5,000 must provide substantial justification and evidence to demonstrate the need for the funding. Further guidance for applications requesting £5,000 - £30,000 is available on the overview and eligibility page.
