Business property owners in Argyll and Bute may be eligible for up to 12 months of Empty Property Relief (EPR) if they can provide genuine evidence that their property is vacant due to ongoing renovations.

Efforts to preserve and restore Lochgilphead’s historic charm are in full swing as the town’s Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) continues to make progress.

The A816, which was partially closed by a rockfall just north of Ardfern, towards Craobh Haven, on 4 April 2025, is now cleared, safe and fully open.
