Six projects in Argyll and Bute are poised to benefit from a share of £496,000 from the Scottish Government’s Place Based Investment (PBI) Programme after councillors agreed to the funding in principle at a meeting of the council’s Policy and Resources Committee.

Business property owners in Argyll and Bute may be eligible for up to 12 months of Empty Property Relief (EPR) if they can provide genuine evidence that their property is vacant due to ongoing renovations.

Efforts to preserve and restore Lochgilphead’s historic charm are in full swing as the town’s Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS) continues to make progress.
