About the artwork
Depiction of a group of fishermen’s houses next to a small harbour. The whole pedestrian area and vertical wall are dripping wet from the swell, which is sucking back from its onslaught. The painting is simplified into a pattern of geometric shapes, and the artist has used a palette knife, and makes great use of impasto.
