What happens next?
We will invite you to attend a preparation group where you will get the opportunity to meet experienced carers and other people just like you who are keen to find out more about fostering. If you decide to go ahead and apply to become a foster carer, you will then begin the assessment process.
This includes medical, police, and health checks. We involve all members of your family, so it is important you discuss your plans to foster or adopt with all members of your immediate family.
