To vote in person in the UK Parliamentary Election on 4th July 2024, you will need to show photo ID at the polling station.
The closing date for nominations was 8 September 2022.
If a Community Council received less nominations than there were vacancies a poll (voting) does not need to take place. The Notices of Uncontested Elections lists all the Community Councils and Candidates for whom polling does not need to take place. On 20 October 2022, those Candidates will formally become Community Councillors for their local Community Council. Click on the areas below to view the details of the successful candidates.
Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands
A number of Community Councils remain inquorate (less than half of the vacancies filled) and a further by-election process will be undertaken for these as soon as possible.

The Notice of Poll provides the names and addresses of the candidates who stood for election and Candidate Statements if submitted are also provided.
