Our nursery is part of our Early Level class which serves children of 3 and 4 years old and those in Primary 1. This means that children at the early level of Curriculum for Excellence play and learn together and that our childcare education workers and teachers plan and deliver learning and play together.
Our environment is very important and is designed to promote inquisitive attitudes and engaging play. We moved into our new purpose built ELC space in December 2020 and children experience up to 50% of their play and learning outdoors in our extensive and varied school grounds, local coastline, forests and community.
The school values are Cooperation, Kindness, Enjoyment and perseverance and our aim is to make the best use of every resource available to us to help children build a strong platform from which to leap into their unique future.
