The school is well resourced in terms of staff, educational resources, ICT equipment and award winning school grounds.
The curriculum is delivered in a creative manner and the school has been involved in many new and innovative projects. There is a high commitment to the use of the external environment in all teaching and learning and Inveraray has been at the vanguard of learning for sustainability and outdoor learning during the past two decades.
Inveraray Primary School uses a whole school nurturing approach as well as an innovative curriculum and imaginative approaches to learning to ensure all pupils thrive. Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education commented in 2020 that Inveraray is “a calm, happy and inclusive school where children are ready and able to learn.”
In December 2020, Inveraray opened their new Early Level Class Space after extensive renovation. Here, children in pre-school and Primary one play and learn together and every child is supported in their personal learning and development.
