There is a third area which is used for lunch, PE and Expressive Arts. This area also contains the school library. There are many opportunities for outdoor learning nearby with all pupils attending monthly Forest School sessions. Within the school grounds there are both an outdoor classroom and a newly refurbished polytunnel. The school enjoys close links with the local community, many of whom regularly attend our termly ‘Tea Room’ which is held within the school at the end of each term. We have strong partnerships with various stakeholders in the local area including the local Sculpture Park, Active Schools, Community Forest and Community Council. Many of our pupils are members of local organisations e.g. Brownies/Girl Guides, Beavers/Cub Scouts and the school is actively involved with the local shinty club. We also provide a range of after school clubs and activities which run each day from 3.00-3.30pm. These are run by staff, parents and members of our local community. At Kilmodan, we aim to provide a school environment which is safe, engaging, nurturing and promotes individuality. If you require further information please contact us, we look forward to meeting you.
