Our roll is presently around 285 pupils with a 40 place Early Learning and Child Care classroom. Our Curriculum is based on the principles outlined within ‘Curriculum for Excellence’. We strive to provide our pupils with opportunities to become Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens and Effective Contributors. We do this by ensuring the curriculum is relevant and reflects our environment, our pupils have opportunities for leadership and staff plan carefully to ensure all pupils are supported. We reflect on our practice to ensure ongoing improvement.
Kirn PS is at the heart of the Kirn Community and we grasp any opportunity to work in partnership with the local community. We look forward to continuing to develop our school grounds and garden with the help and guidance of our community. We benefit from local volunteers supporting our pupils in their learning and look forward to develop this further.
In Kirn PS we try to make every minute count as we strive to give our pupils the best educational experience possible.
