This means that personal information about you that you have previously provided in order to receive Education will be shared with this company. This information is contained in the General Education Privacy Notice which can be found on the Council website at https://www.argyll-bute.gov.uk/data-protection . The personal data will include your name, year stage, class, Scottish Candidate Number, SEEMiS reference number and email address.
Why do Satchel One need this information?
Your information is being collected to allow use of the website that is needed to support your completion of homework. There are enhanced benefits to the pupil, parents/carers and the school in using this tool.
The legal bases for collecting your information in these circumstances are:

What we will do with your information?
The information Show My Homework collects about you will be processed in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Ireland is bound by the GDPR to an equivalent level of protection to that offered by the UK GDPR.

How long will Satchel One keep your information?
Personal data will be held in Show My Homework for up to 3 months after you no longer require an account. Your school will request that your data is deleted and this will be done within 28 days.
Data downloaded from Show My Homework by the school will be kept as detailed in the General Education Privacy Notice. More information on Argyll and Bute Council’s retention schedule is provided on the Council website (www.argyll-bute.gov.uk) or can be provided in paper format on request to School Support 01369 704000.
Your Rights
When you provide information to the Council, you will have the following rights:
- to withdraw consent at any time, where the legal basis specified above is consent
- to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office
- to request access to your personal data
- to data portability, where the Legal basis specified above is i) consent or ii) performance of a contract
- to request rectification or erasure of your personal data, as so far as the legislation permits
