Argyll and Bute Council held a by-election to elect one councillor in Ward 2, Kintyre and the Islands, on Thursday 29th September 2022.
The Kintyre and the Islands Ward includes the areas surrounding Carradale to Kilberry and includes the islands of Islay, Jura, Colonsay and Gigha. It has an electorate of just under 5,500 people.
