Minibus driving assessment

Before you can book and use one of our council minibuses for your group or organisation, you need to complete our minibus driving assessment. You can use this form to request an assessment. One of our staff will then get in touch with you to arrange a date and time for your assessment. If you have any questions, you can call us on 01546 604357 or email us at minibus@argyll-bute.gov.uk.

About the driver

To drive one of our minibuses, you must hold a current UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points on it. You also need to have category D1 entitlement on your licence. When you come for your minibus driving assessment, you will be asked to show us both parts of your licence to confirm this.

Minibus driving assessments are valid for 3 years, then they need to be renewed.

Payment

A minibus driving assessment costs £40. We will invoice you / your organisation for this cost. Please give us details below of the contact to invoice for payment.
