Exchange or Rings or Gifts

The exchange of rings is a tradition that has been practiced for many years but it is not a compulsory part of the ceremony.  Couples can also exchange gifts if they prefer or they do not need to exchange anything.

With this ring I thee wed

I give you this ring as a sign of my love and the commitment we have made to each other

I give you this ring as a sign of my love and the commitment we have made to each other.  As you wear it, may it be a reminder of how much I love you, every single day of our lives.

With this ring, I wed you for today, for tomorrow, and for all the years to come. Please wear it as a sign of my love and a notice to all the world that you have chosen me to be your husband/wife/life partner.
