Written update by Argyll and Bute TSI

The group gave consideration to a report which outlined the proposal by Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface (TSI) to set up a Climate Action Hub that will draw together a range of community actors to coordinate, map and network build for the purpose of increasing community awareness about climate action.  Information on the possible form the Climate Action Hub could take; how a consortium model would function in terms of governance and an indicative project timeline was also provided.

Decision

The Mid Argyll, Kintyre and the Islands Area Community Planning Group:-

1.    considered and noted the information provided; and

2.    noted that in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer of Argyll and Bute Third Sector Interface (TSI), any questions could be forwarded to him following the meeting and any responses circulated to the group.
