A report providing an update on Members training from June 2012 to date was considered.  The report also provided detail on the ongoing work for delivering further training up to and following the Local Governments elections in May 2012.

Report by Head of Improvement and Strategic HR

A report providing a detailed view on a range of key areas for development and continuous improvement relating to the Council’s Planning and Performance Management Framework was considered.

A report updating Members on where the CPP Community Engagement Strategy sits following the establishment of the Third Sector and Communities CPP Sub-Group was considered.

The future of the Organisational Development Policy and Performance Group was discussed. 

The Chair recorded his thanks to the members of Group for their work during their term of office on the Organisational Development Policy and Performance Group.

Decision

Noted that discussions were taking place on the Political Management Arrangements through a Short Life Working Group and that the next meeting of this Group was to be held on 4 April 2012 in Kilmory.
