There were no apologies for absence.

There were no declarations of interest.

The Chair, Councillor Gordon Blair, welcomed everyone to the meeting.  He explained that no person present would be entitled to speak other than the Members of the Local Review Body (LRB) and Mr Jackson, who would provide procedural advice if required.

He advised that his first task would be to establish if the Members of the LRB felt that they had sufficient information before them to come to a decision on the Review.

Councillor Irvine advised that he did not have enough information before him as he was not familiar with the area.  He suggested a site inspection would be beneficial so that he could view the road and the application site so that he could consider whether commensurate improvements or any mitigation measures could be put in place to enable this development to go ahead.

Councillor Hampsey agreed with the comments made by Councillor Irvine and supported the request to hold a site inspection.

Councillor Blair agreed that he too would like to go ahead with a site inspection and that the Roads Officer and Planning Officer should be in attendance.  He also requested that a 2^nd calling of the LRB be held on the same day the conclusion of the site inspection.

Decision

The Members of the LRB agreed:

1.     to hold an accompanied site inspection to view the road and development site at the earliest opportunity after the Council recess in July, and to request the attendance of the Roads Officer and the Planning Officer; and

2.     to hold a 2^nd calling of the LRB on the same day at the conclusion of the site inspection.
