Helensburgh in Motion Consultation

Argyll and Bute Council is inviting people to have their say on a potential walking and cycling improvements in the east side of Helensburgh that will make it safer and easier for more people to choose to walk and cycle to nearby services and facilities. 

The consultation also includes options to link the existing section of the Helensburgh – Cardross – Dumbarton Cyclepath project at Morrison’s Supermarket into the town centre.

The council is seeking feedback from the local community and, with support from SPT and Transport Scotland, will be attending the Hermitage Academy PTA Christmas Craft Fair on Sat 23rd November for the community to have the opportunity to speak with members of the design team.  The team will also be attending the Helensburgh Community Council meeting on the evening of 28th November.

The Scottish Government has funded this initial feasibility stage of the project via the Places for Everyone Programme, administered by Sustrans.
