Argyll and Bute is home to residents from different European Union (EU) countries, who all make an important contribution to our area
The UK left the European Union on 31 January 2020.
Argyll and Bute Council does not decide Government policy surrounding Brexit.
We want to do all we can to help people and businesses in Argyll and Bute get the information they need about decisions that may affect them, and any support required.

Staying in the UK
You can check here what you need to do to stay in the UK if you or your family are from the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland:
EU Settlement Scheme: this scheme was a route for EU Citizens to stay in the UK. The deadline for most people to apply to the scheme was 30 June 2021.
