Argyll and Bute Council’s Early Years Team has received the General Teaching Council Scotland’s Quality Mark after gaining an Excellence in Professional Learning Award from the organisation.
The Excellence in Professional Learning Award recognises excellent work taking place in early years units, schools and further education establishments across the country, and celebrates support, promotion and professional learning that has a significant impact on teachers, classroom practices and children and young people.
Argyll and Bute Council’s Head of Education, Wendy Brownlie said: “I am over the moon that our Early Years Team has received this prestigious accolade.
“Our children and young people at the forefront of everything we do so it is wonderful that the hard work, professionalism and dedication shown by our team has been recognised by the General Teaching Council at this level.”
