Argyll and Bute to benefit from up to £20 million for local growth projects

Argyll and Bute Council has welcomed today’s news that it will receive up to £20 million of capital funding from the UK Government for local growth projects in the area.

Council Leader, Councillor Jim Lynch, said: “I am delighted that we have been successful in our bid for this funding from the UK Government. While the full criteria details have still to be announced, we can look forward to progressing important economic projects in the area.

“We are committed to ensuring ongoing economic success for our communities and today’s announcement will enable us to deliver projects that will not only provide a huge economic boost to Argyll and Bute but will provide long-term benefits for years to come.”
