The latest round of Argyll and Bute Council’s Strategic Events and Festivals Fund opens for applications on Monday 7 October.
In recognition of the significant economic stimulus that events held in Argyll and Bute bring to the local area, the Strategic Events and Festivals Fund (SEF) is offered to support event organisers add value to their event, and to increase its resilience, sustainability, and growth. The fund is open to events taking place between 1 April 2025 and 31 March 2026.
Council Leader, Councillor Jim Lynch, said: “Events and festivals are very popular in Argyll and Bute and play a vital part in attracting tourists to the area.
“The Strategic Events and Festivals Fund is always very popular so I would encourage as many event organisers as possible to bid for this funding, particularly for events that will ideally draw in visitors from out with Argyll and Bute - from Scotland, the rest of the UK and overseas.”

The application process is open from Monday 7 October until Monday 18 November at 12 noon.
