We would recommend that you buy your ferry tickets in advance online Jura Commerce (argyll-bute.gov.uk)
It is advisable for passengers to be in attendance on the pier 10 minutes prior to sailing time for crew to organise boarding and conduct safety announcements. The vessel has a quick turnaround at Feolin, please ensure you arrive at Feolin before the vessel’s departure time from Port Askaig.
Port enabling works 19th June to 30th July - planned works at Port Askaig will not impact the Islay to Jura ferry service, ferry services will be available as normal.
Changes to timetables - 4th July and 18th July
Due to the General Election on 4th July, and the Local Election on 18th July (Ward 2 Local By-Election) there is a requirement to collect the ballot box from Jura when the polling station closes at 2200hrs on both these dates. To allow the ballot box to be transported to Islay, and to comply with crew hours of rest the 2130hrs bookable sailing on both these dates will be moved to 2200hrs departing Port Askaig and return from Feolin to Port Askaig once the ballot box has been delivered. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
