Waste (Scotland) regulations
Waste regulations introduced by the Scottish Government came into force in January 2014. The new Regulations are a key part of the Scottish Government’s zero waste strategy to eliminate waste and reach a target of 70% recycling by 2025.
Resource Efficient Scotland, a programme delivered by Zero Waste Scotland on behalf of the Scottish Government, is helping businesses prepare for the new Regulations. There are free resources available online to help businesses fulfil their requirements at http://www.resourceefficientscotland.com/
