|Temporary road closure - Cairndow loop road||

Due to essential works, there will be a temporary road closure of the Cairndow village loop road in Cairndow from its junction with the access to Ardkinglas Woodland Gardens extending to its junction with the Arrochar-Inveraray-Campbeltown Trunk Road (A83) a distance of 600 metres or thereby.
Closure to be from 8am on 5th April to 6pm on 31st May or until the works are complete whichever is soonest
|B8001 Skipness to Claonaig road||

There is currently a large crack in the B8001 Skipness to Claonaig road. The road remains open and we are progressing a temporary repair which will involve filling in the crack while we design a suitable long term solution.
The permanent solution is likely to involve tying the road together with specialist steelwork which have a reasonably long lead-in time, meaning the work is unlikely to be progressed before late summer/autumn.
|B839 Hells Glen to Lochgolihead road Closure||

The B839 Hells Glen to Lochgoilhead road will be temporarily closed between the hours of 8am and 8pm (Monday to Friday) until Sunday 1st August or untilworks are complete, which ever day is sooner. The closure is to enable Scottish Woodlands to fell and remove 6000T diseased larch trees safely without any risk to public safety

To allow for improvement works, vehicle access will close on Lower Argyll Street and Colchester Square in Lochgilphead from 24th January until early April.
Please be aware, to help with the diversion of traffic, there will also be parking restrictions in place along Lorne Street and Union Street, reducing parking to one side only

Castle Street - Port Bannatyne on the Isle of Bute remains temporarily closed due to a dangerous building at No. 21 Castle Street.
Work is progressing by others to make the building safe, but the road will remain closed until the building is no longer a danger to the public.
Diversions are in place but the closure will restrict on-street parking.
The Council's Building Control Officers are working with others to have the safety concerns addressed as quickly as possible.
Updates on progress and the re-opening of the street will be provided as soon as they are available.
