North Argyll Carers Centre is a local, independent charity providing a wide range of person-centred emotional and practical support services to unpaid carers aged from 5 upwards across the Oban Lorn and Isles area, making a positive difference to their lives and enabling them to sustain their caring roles. We are based in Oban, but operate a mainland and islands outreach service and have workers on Mull, Tiree and Coll. Services offered include 1:1 support; information on carers’ rights and entitlements; Adult Carer Support Plans; Young Carer Statements; hospital liaison service; a carers’ learning and activities programme; regular online and in-person peer support groups; short breaks opportunities including day trips and residentials; stress relieving therapies and carer counselling.
