Child Protection Committee Local Practitioner Events

Child Protection Committee Locality Practitioner Events 2024

What are these events?

The Committee would like to hear from practitioners from all fields who are involved in child protection work.  It’s important to us that we get to hear your thoughts, views and experiences of delivering this crucial work in Argyll and Bute.  It’s also important that we get the opportunity to meet with you and provide updates on the work of the committee and any developments.

Who should come along?

Any professional involved in child protection work as part of their role, e.g. Teachers and Early Years Practitioners, Police Officers, Social Workers, Health Visitors, midwives, third sector colleagues etc.

What to Expect

The discussions will be led by Moira McKinnon, Independent Chair of the CPC, Angie McDonald, Child Protection Lead Officer Child Protection and Hilary Moy Inter-Agency Training Co-ordinator, we will update you on recent work of the committee, seek your views on how we can support you in carrying out this work and hear any ideas that you have for improvement.   This will then be fed back the Committee.
