Argyll and Bute pupils receive exam results

Young people across Scotland have received their exam results today and initial figures show that Argyll and Bute’s results are higher than the national average in both National 5 and Advanced Higher for A-D. The results also show a 100% pass rate in National 4 across our schools, building on previous National 4 success.

Gold, silver and bronze awards for Rights Respecting Schools

Putting children’s rights at the heart of school life, where children feel respected and their talents nurtured are key aims of UNICEF’s Rights Respecting School Awards (RRSA). Staff and children across fifteen Argyll and Bute Schools have worked hard to embed the award values in daily school life resulting in gold, silver and bronze awards. This is a significant step towards the council becoming a Rights Respecting Education Service.
