Oban

Council urges people to plan ahead for Oban Clipper Race

The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race will arrive in Oban this weekend and, as part of bringing the event and its benefits to Oban, Argyll and Bute Council has put some traffic management arrangements in place and is encouraging people to use public transport where possible.

Is your child eligible for a school clothing grant?

Did you know that Argyll and Bute Council offers a school clothing grant for eligible families?
You may be entitled to a clothing grant of £120 per child when attending Primary School and £150 per child when attending Secondary School.
